This Privacy Policy explains how OmniLens AI ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Android application.
1. Information We Collect
- Email address – collected when you register or sign in with Google.
- Display name and profile picture – obtained from your Google account when you use Google Sign-In.
- Images you submit – photos you capture or select for analysis. These are sent to Google's Gemini API and are not stored on our servers.
- Usage data – number of analyses performed, credit balance, and transaction history.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account.
- To provide AI-powered image analysis via Google Gemini.
- To track and manage your credit balance.
- To process in-app purchases through Google Play.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that have their own privacy policies:
- Google Sign-In – for authentication.
- Google Gemini API – for image analysis.
- Google Play Billing – for in-app purchases.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your account data (email, credits, transaction history) is stored securely in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon. Images you submit for analysis are processed in memory and are never permanently stored. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app's Account screen by tapping Delete Account. This action is irreversible and removes all your data from our servers immediately.
6. Children's Privacy
OmniLens AI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
